Be part of the Wharton Club of Chicago’s exciting outing at the Wellington/Oakdale Old Glory Marching Society Memorial Day Parade! Join fellow Wharton members to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a classic, festive parade through Lakeview. Enjoy the sights, music, and vibrant community spirit.
The Jesse White Tumblers will perform!
This family-friendly event welcomes all ages—bring your strollers, scooters, or bikes! The Wharton Club will gather at Wellington and Pine Grove at 10:50 am.
Look for Patricia Tsao with the umbrella with a British Union Jack flag in it to make it easy to spot our group.
The parade kicks off at 11:00 am. The Jesse White Tumblers Marching Band will lead us as we march to the lawn of Ascension Saint Joseph’s Hospital. We will sit on the lawn and watch the Jesse White Tumblers perform.
After, the Wharton Club will walk together to Klein’s Bakery and Café for a relaxing lunch and a chance to connect with fellow Wharton members.
