Career transitions — whether planned or unexpected — can be energizing, uncertain, and sometimes isolating. Often, the biggest challenge is not just finding the next opportunity but maintaining momentum, perspective, confidence, and accountability throughout the process.
The Career Transitions Connection Circle is designed to create a small, trusted community where alumni can share experiences, exchange ideas, support one another, and navigate career decisions together.
Who Should Join?
This Circle may be a fit if you are:
- exploring a new role or industry,
- considering consulting or entrepreneurship,
- re-entering the workforce,
- pursuing board or portfolio opportunities,
- thinking about retirement or life after retirement,
- or simply evaluating your next chapter.
What to Expect
- Small group of 6–12 Wharton alumni
- Six-month commitment
- 3–5 meetings (virtual and in-person)
- Confidential, supportive discussions
- Focus on accountability, momentum, and connection
Pilot Program
This Circle is part of a pilot program in partnership with Wharton Lifetime Learning to test Wharton Club members’ interest and develop best practices that may be expanded within the Wharton Club of Chicago and nationwide.
Eligibility
Participation is limited to active members of the Wharton Club of Chicago. Membership must remain active throughout the six-month program period.
There is also a $25 commitment fee to join this Connections Circle.
