Mobilizing Asean: Building The Future Through Partnership
Wharton Global Forum Kuala Lumpur
March 11-12, 2016
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
Join the Wharton community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for this extraordinary opportunity to make new connections and learn from innovators and thought leaders who are mobilizing ASEAN through their dynamic partnerships.
Letter from the Dean:
In March 2016, the Wharton Global Forum Kuala Lumpur will bring together faculty, alumni, and the broader business community to address our key theme: Mobilizing ASEAN – Building the Future through Partnerships. Wharton recognizes that the success of any endeavor is the result of strategic alliances. The combined efforts of government and business present a unique opportunity and responsibility to create a thriving landscape for innovation and entrepreneurship. When these forces coalesce to achieve the same goals, the workforce expands and social mobility becomes possible in new and profound ways.
Key discussion issues of the Wharton Global Forum Kuala Lumpur include:
- Innovation, entrepreneurship, and human capital
- Inclusion of women in the workforce
- Geo-economic context of ASEAN
- Regulation, trade, regional commodities, and the limits and possibilities of economic integration
We look forward to convening the brightest minds to engage the complex and challenging issues during the Forum. The knowledge generated by Wharton’s faculty and the global leadership of the School’s preeminent alumni has a major impact on government, business, and society.
I am sincerely grateful to members of the organizing committee who have worked hard to shape the Forum content and to develop this influential event. I very much look forward to seeing you in Kuala Lumpur, March 11-12, 2016.
Sincerely,
Geoffrey Garrett
