About the Speaker:
June Kinney is the Associate Director of the MBA Program in Health Care Management and Lecturer in the Health Care Management Department. In her role as Associate Director she recruits and interviews candidates for the HCM MBA Program, serves as academic and career adviser to HCM MBA students and undergraduate concentrators, serves as primary liaison to the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association, works with Department faculty on curriculum design, and oversees administrative management of the Health Care Management Department. She co-teaches the core HCMG 653, Health Care Field Application Project course with Professor Mark Pauly and supervises Independent Study projects for MBA students. In April 2013, she became both the inaugural recipient and the namesake of a new national educator award from the Business School Alliance for Health Management (BAHM), which honors "outstanding service" in the advancement of health care-related management education focused on health care delivery and innovation challenges in an era of great change.
