The Wharton Club of Chicago is excited to offer, for the first time, a career management strategies, tools and tactics workshop designed especially for alumni in the early half of their careers. This high value workshop will take place on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. and is being hosted by mHUB, conveniently located at 965 West Chicago Avenue (near Halsted) in Chicago. The workshop will include lunch and a “bonus” tour of mHUB, an innovation center, prototyping lab and entrepreneurial community of product designers, developers, entrepreneurs, engineers & manufacturers. Participation is limited to the first 20 professionals signing up for attendance.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
This workshop is especially designed to highlight specific career management strategies, tools, and tactics to accelerate continued advancement, job satisfaction, and earnings potential while entering the key growth phase of your profession. Program content (detailed below) is designed to provide key personal insights regarding professional strengths, market demand, strategic positioning, attractiveness of one’s background, presentation and messaging, and effective decision making at key junctures. Valuable exercises are woven into the content. Attendees will come away with a clear understanding of how to further build, position and effectively present their career experience and objectives. Those who are working for a promotion, or have grown complacent, reached a plateau, or are planning to make a move will find the content to be of great and practical value. This series is designed to be an affordable alternative to hiring a $300-400/hour executive coach.

WORKSHOP LEADER - Chris Nadherny

The “Strategic Career Management” workshop has been designed for us by Chris Nadherny, a former 30 year executive suite search consultant and Senior Partner with Spencer Stuart, a leading global executive search firm. During his tenure with Spencer Stuart, Chris assessed, positioned and presented over 5,000 executive leaders across 750 assignments. He provided career guidance to countless others. Chris is also the author of an Amazon “5-Star” reader rated career reference guide book – THE PROACTIVE EXECUTIVE; an Expert Advisor and Coaching Mentor at Crenshaw and Associates (a leading national executive transition services firm); and President of Nadherny & Associates (an executive coaching and career services firm working with professionals nationally). In the past year Chris has provided career coaching services to over 30 senior executives across multiple industries and job functions.
