Join us on Sunday, March 1 at North Avenue Beach for Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities!
Don't miss this incredible winter event that supports a good cause! Special Children's Charities is celebrating the 26th annual plunge with thousands of friends and supporters.
Help the Penn Club of Chicago expand our team for our second year of plunging. The Penn Polar Plungers make a difference for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by joining and/or contributing to the cause.
Meet by 10:30am at the latest at the registration station. Our wave to plunge has been scheduled for 11am.
NOTE: Each Plunger is asked to raise $200 in order to plunge and get a polar plunge t-shirt and towel.

- The boathouse has restrooms available to all plungers before and after the event, as well as changing rooms throughout the beach.
- Free parking is available at the Lincoln Park Zoo’s parking lot on Sunday, March 1 until 2:00 pm. The lot is located at Fullerton Parkway and Cannon Drive (2400 North Cannon Drive, Chicago, IL 60614).
- Shoes are REQUIRED to take the plunge.
