Canceled due to low registration
Join Wharton Club of Chicago alumni for a fun weekend playing pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in America. Get a beginner lesson or just play games. Play will be followed by an alumni mixer at the Lake Bluff Brewing Company, bringing the community together for a fun in-person networking event. We want to bring the North Shore crowd an event :)
A Pickleball aficionado will be available for introductory sessions from 3 pm to 3:30 pm for any beginners. There will also be open play opportunities for those who just want to play. Players will rotate with others to play pickleball and meet other Whartonites. For intermediate and advanced players, we will also work to offer level-appropriate play and competition for you.
Feel free to bring your spouse, partner, or friend. It should be a great way to meet folks and socialize with new and old friends.
Our Wharton cash-bar mixer at Lake Bluff Brewing Company will begin at 4:45 pm. Only 4 minutes drive from Blair Park Pickleball courts in Lake Bluff, the brewery is in the heart of downtown Lake Bluff. Lake Bluff is known for its beautiful lakefront, historic downtown, and small-town charm.
For folks coming from the city or along the Metra line, feel free to request a ride from the Lake Bluff Metra station (next to the brewery) to the Blair Park Lake Bluff pickleball courts.
Your $10 registration fee for each person (alumni and guests) will be for pickleball court reservations. Space is limited so be sure to register early.
