REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Please join the Wharton Club of Chicago and the Princeton Club of Chicago as we welcome Peter Yawitz WG'86, a longtime management communication consultant and author of the website Advice From Someone Else’s Dad. Peter will conduct an interactive, informative, and riotously fun session introducing his new book, Flip-Flops and Microwaved Fish: Navigating the Dos and Don’ts of Workplace Culture.

The book is full of great advice and humor for young professionals and anyone else whose questions “What-do-I-do-when…” are rarely answered directly in the workplace. Peter covers everything from how your seemingly innocuous behavior and email tone can lead to lousy first impressions, to how to improve your small talk even when you think it’s icky and superficial, to how to deal with smelly coworkers, passive-aggressive bosses, and credit hogs, to how to ask for a raise or promotion, to what to do when your manager asks you questions from the adjacent toilet stall.
