Ken DePaola has been in the marketing and digital platform of publishing for most of his career. His current position is Senior Vice President of sales and marketing at Tronc (formerly known as Tribune Publishing), parent company of Chicago Tribune, LA Times and other publications.
Ken is an executive with 40 years of extensive experience in national and local media sales, marketing, administration, and operations with in-depth experience in product and business development as well as analyzing and turning around struggling businesses.
Ken has led advertising/marketing sales teams for the Wall St Journal as Vice President of Global Multi-Media Sales covering Central U.S. from three offices (Chicago, Dallas, Detroit) generating $130M in annual ad revenue across multiple platforms from numerous key industries.
Ken is a strategic planner and visionary specializing in developing and executing major growth and turnaround initiatives through leadership, motivation, creativity, follow-up and accountability with a proven record of success and winning!
