Join us for a guided excursion paddling on the Chicago River and sight-seeing Chicago’s most pinnacle buildings and landmarks. Kayak through a spectacular modern urban setting. Since our city literally grew up on the Chicago River, this is a great way to take in the contemporary metropolitan landscape.
The event is open to everyone, expert kayakers and beginners. There will be a 20-minute pre-paddle session on land, where our guides go over safety issues, “rules of the river” and provide a brief paddling demonstration for those who are new or novice kayakers.
We will be meeting at the Kayak facility on the River Walk at 7:00pm
Kayaking Location: Urban Kayaks on Chicago Riverwalk (425 E. Riverwalk South, Chicago, Il 60601)
Time: Kayak tour starts at 7:30 pm. Please plan to meet at the venue at 7:15pm
Duration: 1 hr
Cost: $50 per person ticket for members and $65 for non-members (interns and 2022 & 23 grads at member prices)
The last day to register is Friday, July 7.
