Please join us for a timely lunch presentation and discussion with Dr. Robert Dieli, President and Founder of economic research and management consulting firm RDLB, Inc. Dr. Dieli will lay out his thoughts on key issues impacting the macroeconomic and market outlook, especially in light of the recent US presidential election. Following his formal comments, we will then open up the floor for an open discussion with Dr. Dieli where attendees can offer their insights on what to expect in the new year.

Robert F. Dieli is President and founder of RDLB, Inc., an economic research and management consulting firm based in Lombard, Illinois.
Dr. Dieli received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with honors, from Boston College in 1968, a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 1969 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977.
Dr. Dieli began his professional career in 1978 as an industrial economist in the Economic Research Division of the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, Illinois specializing in short-term forecasting, the analysis of industrial commodities and inflation.
In 1984 he became Manager of the Portfolio Analysis Unit of the Credit Risk Evaluation Department of the Continental where he was charged with developing risk management systems and loan portfolio reporting and tracking procedures for senior management.
In 1987 Dr. Dieli moved to The Northern Trust Company of Chicago as Vice President and Economist in the Economic Research Department where he coordinated the domestic economic forecasting program.
In 1994 Dr. Dieli became Vice President and Portfolio Manager in the Northern Advantage unit of the Cash Management Department of the Northern Trust. He managed about $3.5 billion in discretionary short-term fixed income accounts for high net worth individuals and corporations.
Dr. Dieli left the Northern Trust in 2001 to start RDLB, Inc.
In addition to being an advisor to firms in the financial services sector, RDLB, Inc.’s client list also includes firms in the agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and management consulting areas of the economy, as well as individual investors. In addition to its management consulting and economic research activities, RDLB, Inc. publishes Mr. Model, a monthly series of reports on current and prospective conditions in the US economy, available by subscription from its website.
