Gwen Morrison's career has been devoted to heightening brand connections and defining new selling opportunities at retail. As CEO, The Americas and Australasia, Gwen is responsible for extending WPP’s retail knowledge community and supporting the retail resources for WPP group companies.
Gwen’s background spans the disciplines of shopper research, advertising, retail strategy development, co-marketing, and environmental design. Before joining The Store, Gwen was Managing Director of Frankel Brand environments. She pioneered development of the retail environment as an experiential brand and sales building medium. She led initiatives for clients such as Target, The North Face, Lincoln-Mercury, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Bank of America, and Nestle.
Morrison promotes best practices throughout the marketing community and contributes to business publications including Harvard Business Review and Brand Week. Her views have been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and Business Week. Based in Chicago, Gwen is a regular speaker at international retail events including the National Retail Federation’s Annual Conference and is a contributor to the recent book, “Shopper Marketing.”
