Rise to Shine is certified, chip-timed and welcomes participants of all ages and levels. Registered participants receive a cooling performance shirt and a unique custom finisher medal with Braille.

- The Chicago Park District will demonstrate various adaptive sports and sporting equipment, such as goalball, beep baseball, running and swimming, and blind soccer. Attendees with and without visual impairments will also have the opportunity to kick a goal using blindfolds and sound cues.
- Post-race Theragun massage treatments and stretching sessions provided by Precision Human Performance.
- Additionally, attendees can test their knowledge in the company’s Fitness Jeopardy game and compete in balance, pushup and rowing challenges for fantastic prizes.
- Free Hearing and Retinal screening provide by Lions Clubs International.
