Introducing: Career Coach “Office Hour”…free for Wharton Club of Chicago Members
Feedback from the recent, over-subscribed Career Workshop Series has been extremely positive. Participants asked if the Club might be able to provide a service for periodic career-related follow-up questions and issues that arise throughout the year. Chris Nadherny, the creator and leader of the workshops has agreed to contribute one hour of his time every other month to assist Club members free of charge through a Zoom office hour. (Typical hourly charges for experienced coaches run from $200 to $650/hour.)
How will this work?
The first Career Coach Office Hour will be held the evening of Thursday, January 19th at 7:30 pm. Following this every other month the Club will send out an advance notice to members/non-members with the date and time of the next “Office Hour”. Non-members who become members are eligible to participate. Questions, suggestions, and issues discussed can be submitted to Chris in advance or live. Topics and questions will be addressed in the order that participants arrive to the Zoom. We will get through as many questions/issues as we can during the hour. This coaching hour also provides an opportunity for Club members to learn through hearing about the career questions, solutions, and challenges of others.
Who is the Career Coach?
For those of you who do not know Chris, he is a former Senior Partner from Spencer Stuart, the leading global senior executive search firm. During his 30 years with Spencer Stuart Chris worked with a broad range of Fortune 500, private equity, mid-cap and emerging growth client companies across multiple industry sectors placing executives into key leadership posts.
