The Wharton Club of Chicago Brings You a Unique NEW Program to Accelerate & Optimize Your Career
Are you actively and properly managing one of your most important assets…your career? The Wharton Club of Chicago is excited to offer a unique, new series of two stand-alone workshops designed to help executives progress more rapidly and with more certainty in their careers. This program is being sponsored by Spencer Stuart, the global leader in executive search, and is designed for professionals who are a bit complacent in managing their careers, at a crossroads, or simply unclear about how to achieve swifter advancement, greater job satisfaction and increased compensation. Program content (detailed below) for each of these two distinct sessions is specific and actionable, accompanied by valuable exercises. Attendees will come away with a clear understanding of the actions to take in strategically building, positioning and effectively presenting and communicating their career experience. Participation is limited to the first 20 professionals signing up for attendance at each session. The series will also be particularly helpful to business executives undergoing or considering a potential job change in 2019. This special program is designed to be a high value, affordable alternative to hiring a $300-$400/hour executive coach.
The “Career Acceleration” series has been especially designed for our membership by Chris Nadherny, a 30 year C-Suite search consultant and Senior Partner with Spencer Stuart, the leading global senior executive search firm. Chris is also a noted author (The Proactive Executive –October 2017, Amazon “5-Star” ratings) and has quickly become a sought after executive coach with a passion for helping others succeed. During his tenure with Spencer Stuart, Chris assessed, positioned and presented over 5,000 executive leaders across 750 assignments. He provided career guidance to countless others. As a result of this experience Chris developed a keen understanding and perspective about how of how successful careers are formed and accelerated, especially in the midst of ongoing technological and digital disruption. Importantly, he also observed how many bright, talented and capable executives “under-manage” their careers, resulting in slower advancement, less job satisfaction, and significantly reduced compensation.
