Most people still use AI one prompt at a time: ask a question, receive an answer, and start over. This member-exclusive workshop shows the next step - an AI Second Brain with an ongoing job, persistent memory, useful tools, and clear boundaries.
First, Wells Ye and Leif Ye of EmployJoy.ai will demonstrate a fully developed, always-on Second Brain built around a fictional executive and a realistic synthetic digital life. With one natural instruction - "Prep me for my meeting with Ann tomorrow" - the system will identify the meeting, retrieve relevant history from memory, email, calendar, and documents, find outstanding commitments, and produce a concise executive brief.
Then we will add information that happened offline: "I ran into Ann yesterday, and the issue changed." The Second Brain will update its understanding and revise the briefing. We will also show it how to handle a personal planning task, conduct contextual research, prepare proactive briefings, and stop for approval before any consequential action.
Next, attendees will build the foundation of their own Second Brain using plain-English instructions rather than traditional programming. You will teach it to remember useful information, organize people and projects, accept corrections, retrieve relevant context, and perform its first specialized job - such as meeting preparation, research, coaching, or a weekly review.
No coding experience is required. Hands-on participants should bring a charged laptop and complete the short setup guide before the event.
