The Wharton Club of Chicago invites you to enjoy a Picnic at Ravinia with Disney’s Encanto In Concert! Watch the Disney animated film “Encanto” on jumbo movie screens while the live Chicago Symphony Orchestra plays the music. A fun experience for all ages!

Join the Wharton Club of Chicago (“WCC”) for a WCC fund-raising and social evening at Ravinia on Sunday, August 27th. Come any time after 3:30 for a picnic dinner and a chance to meet other local alumni. The movie and concert start at 6 pm.
Event pricing includes lawn tickets and a picnic with food and drinks, including wine and beer. The extra cost above the lawn seat cost ($30 for adults, $15 for children/students) provides funds to support the WCC and its mission to build and support the Wharton community in the greater Chicago area.
Please bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on. The WCC Board will provide food and drink BUT any additional food or drinks will be appreciated. The event will go on – rain or shine, so let’s hope for great weather!

Wharton Meeting Location: Location: We will be as close as possible to Picnic Area 7 on the North Lawn on the north side of the Martin Theatre. Look for a large ORANGE tarp and Red and Blue Balloons.
Cost:
$55 - WCC Members signed up before August 22th - includes lawn seat ticket and picnic provided by WCC Board.
$60 - WCC Non-Members AND anyone signing up August 22th and after - includes lawn seat ticket and picnic provided by WCC Board.
$25 - For anyone who already has their Ravinia tickets for this concert - includes picnic provided by WCC Board - NO Ravinia admission tickets are provided.
$20 - For children under the age of 18 - includes lawn seat ticket and picnic provided by WCC Board.
$0 - For Patron Members - includes lawn seat ticket and picnic provided by WCC Board.

Disney Encanto In Concert
First Chicago Showing with Live Orchestra!
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Oscar-winning film Encanto comes to life in concert, featuring Chicago Philharmonic performing the original score by Germaine Franco, who earned Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for the music.
Encanto tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family living in a magical house in the mountains of Colombia. But when Mirabel, the only ordinary Madrigal, discovers the magic surrounding their home is in danger, she may be her family’s last hope.
What is Ravinia?
For those of you new to Chicago or those of you who have heard of Ravinia but have never been, Ravinia is a 36-acre park in the north shore suburb of Highland Park. Ravinia is nestled in a gently wooded area that provides an enchanting place to experience music.
Ravinia, North America's oldest music festival, stands today as its most musically diverse, presenting over 140 different events throughout the summer. These concerts run the gamut from Yo-Yo Ma to John Legend to the annual summer residency of the nation's finest orchestra, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
