Join Wharton Club of Chicago alumni for a fun weekend playing pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America. Learn from a pro or just play in games. Play will be followed by an alumni mixer at the Lakeshore Sports & Fitness Harvest rooftop restaurant & bar which will bring the community together for a fun in-person networking event.
We will be utilizing five rooftop pickleball courts from 3 pm to 6 pm. A Pickleball Pro will be available for introductory sessions from 3 pm to 4 pm for any beginners. There will also be open play opportunities for those who just want to play. We will have light apps, water, wine, and beer during the pickleball playtime. Players will rotate with others to play pickleball and meet other Whartonites. Will play rain or shine since we have indoor courts as a backup plan if it is rainy.
Feel free to bring your spouse, partner, or friend. It should be a great way to meet folks and socialize with new and old friends.
Our Wharton cash-bar mixer at Harvest (Drink Menu / Food Menu) will begin at 6:00 pm until ????. Great skyline views of the city from the alfresco rooftop patio bar that has covered areas in case of inclement weather.
Your $20 registration fee for each person (alumni and guests) will be all-inclusive for pickleball play, pro training, and food/drink (water, wine, beer, and light apps) during pickleball play. Open cash bar after pickleball play in the Harvest patio bar. Space is limited so be sure to register early.
