A Conversation on Socially Responsible Investing and Social Impact with Morningstar and Benefit Chicago
People who are not satisfied with the behaviors or actions of the companies they own in their investment accounts - whether directly or through mutual funds - feel powerless making a difference. Whether it’s your company 401(k), IRAs, or personal accounts, “socially responsible” investments offer the opportunity to align your investments with your personal values. In this session, we’ll explore the evolution of Socially Responsible Investing, the current landscape for ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) investment products, and how to modify your own investment portfolio for a better world. We’ll also learn about investing in the social enterprises right here in Chicago-land.
