For those of our members interested in education, art,  peacebuilding and social impact, the Wharton Club of Chicago would like to highlight a special event sponsored by the Penn Club of Chicago, Weinberg Newton Gallery, Ed-Ventures and Overland for Genesis at the Crossroads, the Chicago-based non-profit organization created in 1999 by Penn Alum, Dr. Wendy Sternberg (Penn CAS and MD).

Genesis at the Crossroads situates peacebuilding at the nexus of the arts, education, human rights and social justice. The organization creates and implements artistic, arts-integrated education and humanitarian initiatives locally, nationally and globally.

The proceeds of this event will go towards the 2017 Genesis Academy Summer Institute and the June 2017 performance and music education program with Genesis’ professional ensemble, Saffron Caravan.

Learn more about their work, ways you can participate and details about the Genesis Academy for Global Leadership, their future international boarding school for peace-building to open September 2020 here in Chicago!
